Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy

Frank Lloyd Wright s Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy OriginsIn 1989, concerned Mirror Lake residents and Wright devotees formed a non-profit organization to save and restore the Seth Peterson Cottage as Wright envisioned it, and to give it a new and useful life. The award-winning three-year $300,000 restoration project was completed in 1992. The mission of the Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy is to continue preservation efforts as well as provide wide opportunities to experience the unique architectural concepts of Frank Lloyd Wright in this intimate setting.
The Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy, Inc. is managed by a Board of Directors made up entirely of volunteers. Board members are elected at the Annual Meeting in December and serve for three-year terms and meet quarterly throughout the year.
Conservancy membership is open to all. Members receive the Conservancy newsletter, discounts on Cottage merchandise such as note cards and t-shirts; and free admission to the monthly open house. The annual membership meeting is after the Open House on the second Sunday of December.
