Contests and Promotions*

Several photography contests for Wisconsin State Parks are held annually; some are statewide, and others are specific to a property. The Wisconsin State Park System also holds an annual sticker design contest for high school students.

2013 state park sticker design contest

2013 Vehicle Sticker
Wisconsin state park and forest annual vehicle admission stickers are designed by high school students chosen in a statewide contest. The design contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, is open to all high school age students attending public, private, or parochial schools in Wisconsin.

The winning 2013 admission sticker, with a fire and marshmallows was designed by Holly Jo Cegielski, a sophomore at Waukesha South High School. The winning design will be printed on state park and forest annual vehicle admission stickers and will be displayed on more than 150,000 vehicles.

Friends of Wisconsin State Parks
The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks holds an annual photography contest. Winning submissions are chosen for the Friends’ Calendar with 100 percent of the calendar proceeds going to the statewide friends organization to aid local friends groups. Major announcement will be coming soon.
