Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit is hosting the 2012 Volunteer Jamboree September 9-11, 2012.

All Wisconsin State Park System volunteers are invited to attend this fun, educational and social gathering.
Join in the fun with campfires, picnics, and informative discussions while we celebrate the volunteer program.

The registration period has ended.

Electrical and non-electrical campsites are available free of charge. Alternate lodging is available in the area, but the cost is not covered (see registration form for suggestions).

  • Samples of locally-produced foods & beverages (cheese, maple syrup, popcorn, etc) will be featured Sunday afternoon.
  • Please bring a dish to pass for Sunday's pot luck dinner, which will be followed by a "Campfire Confections Contest" for the most creative smore. (Please indicate on your registration if you would like to participate).
  • Morning coffee, juice, fruit and pastries provided Monday and Tuesday.
  • Enjoy catered sub sandwiches for Monday's lunch and a pig roast dinner Monday night.
On-Your-Own Activities
Monday afternoon will be set aside to allow you to pursue your own interests and explore all the Northern Unit has to offer - hike a nature trail, the Ice Age Trail or one of several loop trails, visit the Ice Age Visitor Center, paddle Mauthe Lake, drive the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive, tour Kettle Moraine Springs Fish Hatchery, discover the Old Wade House historic site, and more!
